Giving Up

Bad habits are hard to kick.  I have added more greens and more fruits to my diet.  I have successfully switched the family over to soy milk.  I had increased the amount of water I drank but it was short lived.  I began slipping more and more sodas into my diet.  To the point of becoming an obsession.

So, I made up my mind to tame the beast!  I have gone cold turkey…..no more sodas.  My goal is to drink only water and soy milk for an entire month in order to break the habit.

But there is more than just giving up the bad habit.  I am leading a women’s retreat exactly one month from today and the topic is living water.  I want to cleanse myself by fasting from the unhealthy.   I want to lean on God not sodas.
