Coming home to a house full of 4-legged welcomes made me realize how much we were missed.  Ginger jumped for joy and literally would not leave us.  Prissy, the cat, even said hello to us in a sweet loving manner.  The big boys, Stuart and Domino, bounced and barked from all the excitement.  We haven’t seen Fred yet…. he’s at the Humane Society as a boarder.  I am sure he will be just as excited to come home.

We all went to bed early last night.  We were just so pooped from our little trip.  Mark had to get up and go to work this morning.  Bless his heart, he let me sleep in….. it was so nice especially since God nudged me away at 1 am for a little quality time.

When I got up, the first thing that popped into my head was “Where do I begin?”  Laundry?  Cleaning?  Blogging? I had so much in my head to blog about.  Our trip, the conference, God sightings…..  I didn’t know where to begin. Should I start my day with the loads of laundry that needs to be washed and hung out to dry?  What about writing the thank you notes to loved ones who watched the dogs, let us stay and enjoyed visiting?  Do I send out e-mails to those I met at She Speaks?  Unpack?  Vacuum?  My head hurts from everything I need to do!!

But just then…. I realize what I need to do first…..

I got down on my knees and prayed my thank-yous and expressed my gratitude for the means to travel, mingle with godly women and learn.   God has blessed me and my family with so much…. why would I not begin my day at His feet?
